The homework takes 3 hours
It's a twenty-minute assignment. It's now 9 p.m., somebody is crying (possibly you), and dinner was cereal.
Done, but never turned in
The work is finished. It's in the backpack somewhere, in a state of crumpled mystery.
Brilliant at everything except the doing
They can explain every detail of the game they love but cannot start the one-page essay.
The chart on the fridge
Stickers, rewards, consequences. It worked for a week. Then it didn't.
Your kid isn't broken, and neither are you.
Executive functioning is the brain's management system: starting, planning, remembering, switching gears, handling frustration. In neurodivergent brains this works differently, and it often develops later than expected. Pushing harder doesn't speed it up, but the right supports do.
See what's really behind it...

The Five-Minute ADHD Audit shows you which executive functioning skills are tripping your kid up. You stop guessing, and you start fixing the right thing.
Pinpoints your child's specific pain points

I'm a board-certified behavior analyst, a certified ADHD coach, and a fellow ADHDer. I've spent nearly 20 years working with kids, teens, and the adults who love them. I take the science seriously. I take myself less seriously.
I don't do compliance training. Neurodivergent brains need accommodation, not more pressure, and I'll tell you the truth even when it isn't the quick fix you were hoping for.

Both. I coach parents and I coach teens. We'll figure out the right setup on your free call.
That's common and it isn't a dealbreaker. Forcing a teen to participate rarely goes well. We can start with you, or with a lower-pressure first step, and bring your teen in when it makes sense.
No, and it doesn't replace therapy. Coaching is a practical and forward-looking. We name what's getting in the way, build systems that fit your brain (or your kid's), and practice them in real life.
